The EUTechSovereignty2025 organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology and University of Warsaw (Polish leader institution in H2020 and Horizon Europe) in cooperation with scientific and industrial partners, is one of the key international events during the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the area of technology development.

The EUTechSovereignty2025 brings together representatives of the high-tech community, including high-tech industry, technology suppliers and end-users, scientific and research organizations, engineering associations, European partnerships and organizations, policymakers, as well as innovation and technology policy experts and beneficiaries of projects funded under the EU Research and Innovation Framework Programs.

We anticipate participation of high level representatives of the European Commission, the Ministries and agencies, responsible for technological development, implementation of Horizon Europe and European funds, including the Ministry of Economy Development and Technology, Ministry of Digitalization, Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Ministry of  Development Funds and Regional Policy as well as the European partnerships and organizations.

Our Special Guest will be Ms. Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy.

The EUTechSovereignty2025 will focus on the EU strategy for Tech Sovereignty and digital and frontier technologies and, in particular, discuss and assess the effectiveness of Horizon Europe in supporting these goals and shape strategies for the next 10th Framework Program. The event will serve as a platform to define concrete steps toward reclaiming the EU’s technological independence and ensuring long-term competitiveness in the global arena.

EUTechSovereignty2025 is linked to the National Knowledge Valorisation Day conference on 27 May 2025, organised in collaboration with the European Commission (DG Research&Innovation) as a part of the ongoing European campaign on knowledge valorisation.
